“A transparent American/Swede who likes cultural patterns and Social Media. A creative early-adopter who sports, discusses and explores.” (My modernized elevator pitch using Twitters 140 characters to describe myself)
My name is Josef Ohlsson Collentine.
I’m a dual citizen (American/Swede) and try to integrate my reflections from a more global perspective if possible. Have experience from working with B2B sales and with an educational foundation in behavioral science (primarily communication related topics). I studied PR and Marketing (MKV) in the University with a particular focuse on social media, organizational learning and international communication.
‘I have an innovative, entrepreneurial spirit, always on the lookout for a better way, always eyeing new projects, new enterprises, new processes. I’m keenly pragmatic, and often become expert at devising the most effective means to accomplish the ends. Often reluctant to do things in a particular manner just because that’s the way they have been done. As a result, I often bring fresh, new approaches to my work and play. I am intensely curious and continuously probe for possibilities, especially when trying to solve complex problems. I’m filled with ideas, but value ideas only when they make possible actions and objects. Thus I see product design not as an end in itself, but as a means to an end, as a way of devising the prototype that works and that can be brought to market. A rough idea is all I need to feel ready to proceed into action.’
In this blog I will mostly write about transparency, social media and cultural patterns.
Transparency=The act of avoiding secrets, sharing a lot of information.
Integrity, Copyright and Net Politics
Social Media = a tool used to publish information and interact with others through it.
Technology, Integration, Web 2.0
Cultural Patterns =”webs of significance” – an ordered system of meaning and symbols, in terms of which social interaction takes place.
Design, PR/Marketing, Social Interaction
